The Zirbenweg trail is one of the most scenic and best marked hikes in the Tirol's mountains. On the way from the Patscherkofel to the Glungezer the trail leads through Europe’s largest and oldest pine woods. The view of the Karwendel mountains, Stubaital and Innsbruck is breathtaking. The Zirbentrail was awarded the Tirolean Seal of Quality for its outstanding beauty and maintenance.
