Skiing on the Olympic Patscherkofel Mountain!
The skiing season 11/12 starts with sufficient snow cover and lasts until April 09, 2012.
Patscherkofel Mt., known as the “home mountain of Innsbruck“ will host the Winter Olympics for the third time in January 2012.
The varied and sunny terrain offers snow sure pistes of any degree of difficulty and is suitable for any age. Moreover, a new snow park at 1900 m above sea-level is open for the winter season 2011/12 – freestylers will be absolutely thrilled. The Patscherkofel Mountain is not only famous for its great sports history, but also for its unique panorama overlooking the City of Innsbruck, the Stubai and the Inn Valley as well as more than 400 summits. Enjoy such moments of peace in a beach chair on the big sundeck of the Panorama Café/Restaurant and complete your stay at the home mountain of Innsbruck with a traditional dish from the region.
